I can't say enough nice things about this bass. No dead spots on the neck. The action is nice after some minor tweaking. Plays like buttah. The sound is great!!!! You really can't go wrong for the price. I could go all guitar snob and nit pick and if I had paid a lot more I would, but I didn't so I won't. For a "low end" (excuse the pun) bass it's sound, playability and build is really quite extraordinary.
