I was looking for a good vintage P bass at my local music store. I found this on clearance in white and tried it. They were allowing demo's on a small 12 mark bass rig. I was looking for old school tone. I found it with this bass. Maybe not a true 57 P but still a good representation. There were added benefits with the dual single bridge pickup. I was thinking Wow! Better than my deluxe Fender. Then the coil tap gave a little extra capability to that. Then I noticed the nice low action I try to get on my Fenders. Already there! No effort required. Easy to play right out of the box. Schecter where have you been all my life? Great tones from old school to modern. Playing Classic Rock, Country and Blues what else would you need? I put a set of Chromes on it and I'm there. I took it home.
