Rather than focussing on the technical aspects, I want to say that finding a guitar is a very personal path. The D-125 12 spoke to me because I love mahogany top guitars (my favorite six-string acoustic is my Martin 000-15 and my favorite electric is my Gibson faded brown SG) and I've loved Guild 12 strings since I first played a friend's in 1973. So my expectations were high for this guitar and they were all exceeded. What I didn't expect to find is that this is THE perfect guitar for my voice. I don't think there's any way to plan that. I'm in a honeymoon period with this guitar, where it can do no wrong, and where I can't bring myself to touch any others.
